Our History
The 3 partners founded the business back in 2015 employing sustainable and mindful practices, that are having a meaningful social and environmental impact on the local community, soil and the future of this land.
In 2016 and 2017, the walnut trees were planted on he 38 hectares of Poltava’s fertile soils
The conversion into the organic farming took place during 2017-2020 , when the company received its organic certification, confirming that the project corresponds to all the requirements of the independent certification body Organic Standard. This certification is getting confirmed by the annual audit.
The company is an official member of the Ukrainian Nut Association.
Sustainability
Even though organic way of farming is part of sustainable agriculture by the definition, there are a few more things we did and are doing consciously to enhance the impact:
- Classic planting scheme (10 x 10 and 8 x10 meters) refusing from the intensive farming techniques – we want the trees to live their full-fledged lives without the exhaustion;
- No irrigation – we use tillage techniques like chiseling to save the rain water underground.
Product capacities
Our company has its own facilities for high-quality processing of nuts. We use high-performance equipment from the time-tested French manufacturer AMB Rousset.
A comprehensive modern processing line allows us to process 1200 kg/hour and automate every stage of the production process after harvesting: washing, peeling and cleaning, drying, calibration, shelling and sorting of nut kernels by fractions.
Each stage is controlled by experienced specialists in order to obtain high-quality products.
